We are excited to announce YIHAAW's Fall Rec 2024 Season! In response to feedback that we received, we will be adding practices in throughout the season.
Atom - Tuesdays 5:00-6:00: Our beginner division, for players as young as 4 years old. Perfect for those just starting out and learning to skate. Coaches will run 30 minutes of practice and skills, followed by a 30 minute game.
Mite - Thursdays 5:00-6:00: This division is perfect for players who can skate and move the puck and are beginning to skate backwards, generally 7-11 years old. Coaches will run 30 minutes of practice and skills, followed by a 30 minute games.
Squirt - Wednesdays 5:00-7:00: This division is for players that have skating and puck handling ability, are proficient in basic skills such as transitioning backwards, stopping, sending and catching a pass, etc. The age range in this division is typically 9-13.
Peewee - Tuesdays 6:00-7:30: Peewee division is fast and competitive. This is a great division for older, experienced Squirt players to push themselves. The age range for this division is typically 11-16. Not recommended for first time players, unless 15-16 years of age.
Bantam - Thursdays 6:00-7:00: For advanced players only, typically aged 15-18. Please use the following link if interested in playing Bantam. https://www.yihaaw.com/bantam-registration
We aim to stick to this schedule, but the game length and league format will depend on the number of players registered. All leagues will have set teams with goalies.
Fall Rec Season Critical Dates:
Early Bird Registration: 07/31/2024. Prices will increase after this date, so make sure to register early!
